Once you sign up, you will be placed in a card swap group. We will keep our groups to a maximum of 12 people, so once a group is full we will simply add another.

We will assign a theme, technique, or both for the card swap each month. Each participant will interpret that theme or technique in a card design, then make a set number of identical cards to ship to ScrapBugLane.com for exchange. The number of cards will be based on the number of participants in the group.

As the host, ScrapBugLane.com (SBL) will act like a clearing house for all participants. Participants will mail their cards by the 15th of each month. Once SBL receives all the cards, we will ‘swap’ them and mail them back to participants A.S.A.P. Each participant will end up with 12 different cards each month, one of their own design, and one of each of the other participants designs.

An online card swap is a safe and convenient way to connect with paper crafters from all over the U.S. (maybe even the world)!

An online card swap will build your card supply! You will end up with 12 different cards each month. You’ll never need to buy a card again.

We would love to have you in our swap, just be 100% committed and reliable. If you decide you know longer wish to be in the card swap please let us know a month in advance. In order for the swap to work, each member must participate each month.

There is an expectation of quality associated with the swap – make cards you yourself would like to receive. In general, your card should be at least two “layers” deep.

All cards you make for that month’s swap need to be the same and should stick with the theme or technique for the month.

You should always include a envelope with each card.

Unless you give us permission, your e-mail information will be kept private. If you would like other members to be able to contact you via e-mail, please give us permission in writing (e-mail would be fine).

All cards must be mailed by the 15th of each month.

All members are responsible for return postage each month. Please include a return label as well. No postage meter tapes please!
